Over the course of the next few weeks you’re going to get acclimated with AIME and the teams that are here. It can be overwhelming, not just joining a new team, but understanding what we all do and how you fit into the greater picture.

Let’s start with the basis: We support independent mortgage brokers, protect our members and aim to grow the wholesale mortgage channel with curated tools, industry-leading resources and exclusive access to technology.

Now if you’ve never worked in the mortgage world or bought a house you may not be familiar with all the terms like mortgage, broker, wholesale, etc. But DO NOT worry – we’re going to get you up to speed fast. Simply put – the “Why” behind what we do –

It’s pretty simple: Independent mortgage brokers help people finance their homes, which in turn changes the financial trajectory of those families for generations to come. But mortgage brokers need our help for training, advocacy, awareness, and access to a community network for support. That’s why we are here.

Over the next few days you’re going to move through a series of activities with your Manager and Team Members. There is no time like now to dive in and learn everything you can. Ask lots of questions. Take lots of notes. Be patient with yourself because it’s basically like learning a new language. In a very short amount of time you will feel much more confident in your role and your place on this Team.
