Chris Griffith

Founder, Vetted VA

Through Vetted VA™, Christopher Griffith is working for Veterans who want to use the VA Home Loan Guarantee to purchase their home – and take control of their lives.

He is a Marine Veteran, entrepreneur, educator, motivator, and a “nobody from nowheresville.” Christopher understands personally what the VA Home Loan Guarantee can do to change lives for the better; that’s why he is dedicating his time to creating a better solution that will make it easier for Veterans to get the mortgage they want with all of the perks they desire. He is bringing awareness to the fact that service and integrity are missing from the practice of real estate, mortgage and lending in the United States. This does not mean every single individual working as a broker/mortgage originator, but rather the system that has evolved into a feeder system for large banks and small predatory lenders.

Not only does Christopher make a commitment to share community-building exercises and stories, but he’s also deft at it. He has become a top thought leader in the community of Veteran advocates through his prolific use of media. The beauty of the Internet is that you can build a voice for your business and community without spending a dime, which is exactly what Mr. Griffith has done. The amount of time and effort he puts into helping his neighbors and his community is bountiful. He truly believes in the power of giving and goes all out.

He saw the opportunity to build something different, something special, something built on common principles based on relationships. Christopher also builds trust, which forms strong family-like bonds between clients, brokers, friends and neighbors that will last a lifetime.

Daniel De La Torre

Daniel De La Torre

Producing Branch Manager, UMortgage

Daniel De La Torre emigrated from Cuba to the United States in 2004. Here, he got a job as a mortgage telemarketer, making cold calls. He began considering a career in the industry, but the financial crisis forced him to reconsider. He moved into real estate, where he was highly successful. However, in 2015, he returned to the mortgage fold, working for a large retail lender as a Loan Officer Assistant. Although he closed just 1 loan in his first year, he kept working on his skillset and became a full-time producer in 2017. Eventually, he was closing hundreds of loans per year. A desire for increased freedom led him to become independent, a decision that he says, while difficult, was one of the best he’s ever made.

Daniel’s excellence as a Producing Branch Manager is evident in his accolades and accomplishments. He produced well over $30 million in 2021 and is on track to surpass that number this year. He was named Mortgage Executive Magazine’s Top 1% Mortgage Originators in America for 2020 and 2021, a NAHREP® Top 250 Latino Mortgage Originators, 3 consecutive years (2019-2021), and Retail Branch Top Producer Award, 3 consecutive years (2019-2021).

He is also a passionate advocate for mortgage outreach and education, especially within the Latino community, saying “I believe in homeownership – I’m a homeowner myself and being Latino and coming from a country where these type of financial transactions and processes don’t exist, my mission every day is to educate as many Latino future homeowners as I can.”

Karmin Pincus

Karmin Pincus

Principal Broker, PCS Everett Real Estate

My focus has always been on serving our current and former military members and their families. I have served as the Chairperson for the Habitat for Humanity Veterans Build Committee, Chairperson for the Lake Stevens Veterans Commission, am a member of our local county’s Military Affairs Committee, and most recently am serving as the President Elect for our local Navy League Council. I also served in the military from 2006-2012 and my husband recently retired after 20 years of military service. I chose a career in real estate after enduring several very frustrating moves in which our real estate agents’ and loan officers’ lack of VA loan processing knowledge nearly cost us a place to live as well as thousands of dollars in forfeited funds. Not wanting any military members in my area to experience that same frustration and stress, I created PCS Everett Real Estate, and joined forces with Sentry Residential; a multi-state military focused real estate brokerage, to provide top notch customer service and a specialized experience to our country’s current and former service members.

One thing I love about my story is the diversity of my background and experience. With more than 20 years of experience in both for-profit and nonprofit sectors, my clients benefit from my insights which honor multiple perspectives. My work experience includes sales, marketing, event management, mortgage industry, health & wellness, ministry, education and teen mentoring.  I have also been an entrepreneur, owning four locations of personal training company, a Gold’s Gym franchise and an indoor football team.

The path I traveled to StandUP hardly resembles a straight line, but the wisdom I gained through life’s challenges has laid the foundation for authentic, meaningful conversations that have the power to create positive action and impact.  When it comes to engaging in deeply personal conversations about diversity, equity and/or inclusion; not everyone’s story is the same. Nor should they be. I help people feel empowered in their unique story or path; a journey that is often necessary for each of us to achieve greatness.

I am a Gallup-Certified StrengthsFinder Coach, a Certified Professional Coach for Institute for Professional Excellence in Coaching and an Energy Leadership Index Master Practitioner. This means, I get to companion people, teams and organizations as they move from wherever they are to wherever they want to be.  I am committed to contributing to the world, leaving it better than I found it.

My favorite quote represents my coaching philosophy:

“Whether you think you can or you can’t, you’re right.” -Henry Ford

I brought my East Coast flair to the mountains when I moved to Denver from The DMV (D.C., Maryland, Virginia). When I am not coaching, I am likely curled up with a good self-help or leadership book, binge watching Netflix or enjoying nature outdoors somewhere beautiful. Preferably two out of three at the same time whenever possible!
